2010 Activities

Beginning from 26th to 28th March it has been actived the special station 1 CM/SES.
This is to commemorate the 85° anniversary of Guglielmo Marconi's turning on of Sydney Town Hall lights (30th March 1930) from his yacht "Elettra" in Genoa Harbour (Italy).
Club Marconi will send confirmation with a special QSL made for this event.

2009 Activities

Beginning from 03rd until 05th July it has been actived the station 165 CM/CA014 S. Antioco lighthouse, by Manuele (unit 102), on 11 meters frequencies.

2007 Activities

Beginning from 28th July to 21st August it was actives the special station 1 CM/T.S.R. Tall Ship's Races 2007,  on 11 meters frequencies.
It had been done 150 QSO with 14 countries.

During this year it has been actived again the station 1 CM/R.M. "Remember Marconi", multi-operators .

2005 Activities

In the 2005, 1 CM 505 Adam has been actived from Napoli province as 1 CM/NA.

Beginning from 17th April until 2nd May 2005 it has been actived the station 1 CM/R.M. "Remember Marconi", in nice but also difficult circumstances (nice report on the n. 2/2005 of the official group journal "On the Air").

2004 Activities

In the 2004 our group has been "on the air" with the following "Multi-operators" special stations:

- 1 CM Ø-GE04 Genova European Capital of Culture, a homage to our city, as scene of a great European event, that we have photoghaphed on a beautiful QSL;
- 1 CM-HB130 Happy birthday Guglielmo Marconi, to celebrate the 130th anniversary of the "father" of radio birth; Club Marconi sent confirmation for every QSO with a special QSL expressly made for this event.
We thank all operators and remember the contribution was voluntary for each station. The manager was Club Marconi, Genova.

Beginning from 04th until 10th August it has been actived again the station 165 CM/C.C. Capo Caccia lighthouse, by Bruno (unit 477) and Alessandra (unit 416) on 11 meters frequencies.

2003 activities for the 30th anniversary of the group foundation

Beginning from 27th April until 04th May 2003 it has been actived the station 13 CM 0-HB 30 Op. Marco both on 11 meters and ham frequencies on 10-15-20 and 40 meters (qrz DL0FHP).
This activity has had an unexpected success, on the ham bands especially.
Particularly, the ham activation did QSO with nearly 100 countries, and the group decided for a several month extension.

Beginning from 27th April until 04th May 2003 it has been actived the station 1 CM 0-HB 30 Multi-Operator on 11 meters frequencies.
This "all-Italian" activity has had a good success, but not comparable with the German one.
However,it had been done QSO with 23 countries (for es. Japan, New Zealend, Sierra Leone, Kuwait, Malawi and Guinea Bissau) and 35 Italian province.

We thank alla operators who had taken part in this activity. We thank them also for the contributions received, totally devolved to the "Giannina Gaslini's hospital" in Genova, as promised and precisely pro "Associazione per la lotta al Neuroblastoma" actives in this medical center.

Beginning from 03rd until 09th August 2003 it has been actived the station 165 CM/C.C. Faro di Capo Caccia, by Bruno (unit 477) and Alessandra (unit 416) on 11 meters frequencies.
It had been done QSO with 18 countries (for ex. Switzerland, South Africa, Zambia and Sudan)

Beginning from 25th until 30th August 2003 it has been actived 1 CM-EU 028 Giglio island (GR002), Op. Maurizio (unit 257)  on 11 meters frequencies.
This activation has not had the expected success, both for bad propagation reason and technical matters.
However, it had been done 57 QSO with 14 countries.

2002 activities

2001 activities

Beginning from 24th March 2001 and for several days after it had been actived the special station 1 CM 0/F.C. to commemorate the great Italian cycling champion Fausto Coppi. The station tramsitted during the Italian tour laps to commemorate two great Italian cycling champions of the past: Fausto Coppi and Gino Bartali.
Of course, Club Marconi sent confirmation with a special QSL expressly made for this very special event.

2000 activities

  Beginning from 02nd until 08th October 2000 it has been actived the special station 1 CM 0/TF.
The "Tempio della Fraternità" is a Church built by an army chaplain in the II World War against any type of hatred and racial intolerance. For this special station, Club Marconi confirmed your QSO with a particular QSL.

Beginning from 22nd until 25th Aprile 2000 it has been actived the special station, 1 CM 0/D.I., to commemorate the 72° anniversary of the airship Italia tragedy. Even for this opportunity it had been sent a special QSL expressly made for this event.

1999 activities

  On 26th March 1999 it has been actived a special station to commemorate the 69° anniversary of the switching on of Sidney Town Hall lights (Australia) by sending a wireless radio signal from the harbour of Genoa (Italy), in 1930. For this special event it had been printed a special QSL.

Beginning from 15th until 16th May 1999 it has been actived aspecial station to commemorate the bicentenary from the Alessandro Volta's invention of the so-called "voltaic pile". Club Marconi confirmed your QSO with a special QSL.

Beginning fromi 21st to 23rd May 1999 it has been actived the special statione 1 CM0/VVF to commemorate the 70° anniversay of firemans district in Genoa/Bolzaneto (Italy). To every cantacted radio operators it had been sent (together the special QSL made for this event) an envelope with a stamp deidcated to firemans with the  official postal cancellation of the "1st issue day".

Beginning from 4th to 5th december it has been actived a special station to commemorate the 90° anniversary of awarding of Nobel Prize in  physics to Guglielmo Marconi. Club Marconi confirmed every QSO with a special  QSL expressly made for this event.
